It all started with a meme and a tiktok...
Lola joined TikTok in a time where the Anime fandom was getting really active in online content. When a meme about a certain Anime teacher and his fans took off, Lola joined in on the fun and made her very first anime-themed choker. From there, interest picked up and after a few test runs of ideas, and a powerful push from her two best friends, Chubbdoll Collars opened in December of 2020. The trio has been bringing you cute chokers to celebrate your fandoms ever since!
A shift, a change and 3 really big brains...
At the beginning of 2023, Lola, Missy and Nana realized they had so many ideas that they wish they could see in the fandom merchandise space, and decided they could go further than what they've been offering. Deciding to be the merchandisers they wanted to see, a year long journey began to get into the Anime Clothing space. With this pivot, a new logo, new brand colors and a brand new website came. In Fall 2024, they finally see their work come to life in their first (of hopefully many) cardigan launch! Chokers will always be a part of the Chubbdoll story (and our shop!), but from here, the sky is the limit!
